25, rue du Petit Musc in Paris. As the guests of The Family are dining under the astonishing glass ceiling, a mysterious narrator interrupts them. From the top of the monumental stairs he takes them a century back, in the heart of the Phoenix, the most illustrious cabaret of its time. One hundred years ago today, in this very same place, cold nights were heated up by slavic tunes.
 
That night was the birthday of Serena, queen of the dancers. She begins a proud and tragic act, one that tastes like her Russian motherland. She is hypnotic, and the other dancers start to mingle with guests to cheer for her. But soon, everything disappears : Selena and her girls vanish, leaving behind them the scent of another time.
